Curatorial Project: Monthly Event Series
FUN (a media lounge in Manhattan's Chinatown)
September 2000 - October 2001

OpenMouse was a monthly event series that I organized as a program of Rhizome.org in collaboration with Cultural Alchemy, a NY-based media collective. Digital artists, DJs, and electronic musicians were invited to sign up for hour-long performance slots in a multi-channel "open mic" format. Large computer-driven projection screens combined with MP3s, streaming audio, and audiovisual software to create a layered audiovisual environment and an inclusive, experimental atmosphere.
