Tijuana Calling (2005)

 

Tijuana Calling is an online curatorial project featuring five newly commissioned online art projects that address issues specific to the borderlands of Tijuana/San Diego, including migration and exchange, flows of capital and labor, surveillance and privacy, and cultural hybridity.


Black Box (2005)

 

Black Box is a new media art exhibition within ARCO '05 curated by Anne Ellegood, Omar López-Chahoud, Shamin M. Momin, Agustín Pérez Rubio, Jérôme Sans, Gerfried Stocker, and Mark Tribe. I selected two artists to participate in Black Box: Mary Flanagan and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer.


ArtBots (2004)

 

ArtBots: The Robot Talent Show is an annual art exhibition for robotic art and art-making robots. It is produced by the Columbia University Computer Music Center with support from the Digital Media Center. I was invited to co-curate ArtBots 2004 with new media artist Mary Flanagan and Douglas Irving Repetto, the director of ArtBots.

Game Show (2001)

 

In 2001, Alex Galloway and I co-curated a selection of net-based games for MASS MoCA's Game Show exhibiton.

An exhibition of works on paper by New York net artists at the Moving Image Gallery in New York.


OpenMouse (2000-2001)

 

OpenMouse was a monthly event series that I organized as a program of Rhizome.org in collaboration with Cultural Alchemy, a NY-based media collective.
